Job Description

Our client, a higher education institute located in the Boston area, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team for 3+ months, with potential to extend. The role is 35 hours per week and compensating $18 an hour. Qualified and interested candidates are encouraged to apply today for immediate consideration.

Responsibilities:

  • Placing, receiving and routing telephone calls
  • Receiving and directing visitors
  • Typing, filing, faxing
  • Handling incoming and outgoing mail
  • Ordering and maintaining supplies
  • Providing backup coverage to other administrative desks.

Requirements:

  • Has basic to intermediate computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable greeting office visitors and assisting with inquiries.
