Position Overview:
We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant to become a key member of our finance team. As an AP Accountant, you'll play a critical role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations, processing vendor invoices, and contributing to month-end and year-end closings. With a hybrid work schedule, this role offers the flexibility of both in-office and remote work, providing the perfect balance for professional growth and personal life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and review vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Manage and maintain accounts payable ledger.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
• Prepare and process payments to vendors, ensuring timely and accurate payment cycles.
• Assist with month-end close, including preparing necessary accruals and reports.
• Coordinate with other departments to obtain necessary documentation and resolve issues.
• Assist with audits and respond to auditor requests related to accounts payable.
• Help with the implementation and improvement of AP processes and controls.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AP best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with ERP systems is a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
