DescriptionLocation: UCHealth UCHlth 2450 Peoria Admin Services, US:CO:AuroraDepartment: UCHlth Interpreter Services - ARABIC VIDEO INTERPRETERFTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)Shift: Days Pay: $21.49 - $27.94 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experienceRequirements:High School diploma or GED. Completion of medical interpretation competency test.2 years of medical interpretation..Summary:Provides medical interpretation for patients, staff and guests who are non-English speaking, deaf, or hard of hearing, to help communication with healthcare professionals.Responsibilities:Acts as a conduit between patient and/or guest and healthcare professional for communication in the patient's preferred language. Accurately interprets medical terminology, including but not limited to anatomy, prescriptions, and procedures. Complies with all privacy and confidentiality policies when communicating patient information. May translate written documentation.Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
