As a Armed Security Guard - Front Desk in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and clients. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing a welcoming presence while helping to deter security-related incidents. This is an armed post, requiring you to maintain a high level of professionalism and readiness at all times. You will utilize your customer service skills to address inquiries and assist individuals, all while upholding the values of agility, reliability, and innovation that define Allied Universal. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat08:00 PM - 08:00 AMSun04:00 PM - 08:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, visitor logs, and incident reports as required by site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters and/or concerns.
• Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, including alerting appropriate personnel and coordinating with first responders if needed.
• Support a welcoming environment while helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity at the front desk area.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
