We are currently seeking a motivated and organized Assistant Office Manager to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview:
The Assistant Office Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our dental office. This position involves administrative duties, patient interaction, and support to our management team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have strong communication and leadership skills, and possess a passion for providing excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
● Assist the Office Manager in the daily operations of the dental practice.
● Manage patient scheduling, appointments, and follow-ups.
● Oversee front desk operations, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for patients.
● Assist with billing, insurance claims, and patient payment processing.
● Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
● Train and supervise front office staff, providing support and guidance as needed.
● Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and feedback professionally.
● Collaborate with dental staff to streamline office workflows and improve patient experiences.
● Assist in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining office equipment.
● Support marketing efforts to promote practice growth and patient engagement.
Qualifications:
● High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field is preferred.
● Previous experience in a dental or healthcare office setting is strongly preferred.
● Proficiency in dental practice management software (e.g., Open Dental, Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is a plus.
● Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
● Friendly demeanor and a passion for patient care.
● Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
