Assistant Project Manager

The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for planning, orchestrating, and executing projects within designated budgets, timelines, and scope. This individual will skillfully oversee project progress and deliver updates in a clear and compelling manner to key stakeholders, clients, and project team members. The role also involves working with carrier relations, handling licensing for new hires, and setting up appointments for M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions) activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrier Relations
  • Working with Carrier IT departments with download issues
  • Creating carrier logins for new & existing employees
• M&A integrations:
  • Communication with carriers on new acquisitions
  • Tracking each step of the integration process through Smartsheet/other Project Management software
• Licensing Coordination:
  • Assist in the new hire onboarding process. Gathering licensing information and submitting to our TPA.
  • Assist with the processing of facilitating licensing transactions with carriers
• Appointments:
  • Assist in appointing each new hire with our top carriers
  • Ongoing maintenance (terminating old employees, etc. )
• Additional Duties:
  • Further integration items with new acquisitions (vendor contracts, lease agreements, etc.)
  • Other projects as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills
• Enthusiasm and a desire to learn and grow
• Experience interacting with/presenting to senior leadership
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Well-developed time management skills with a strong ability to multitask
• High effectiveness in managing cross-functional teams
• Strong verbal, written and organizational skills
• Experience using Microsoft Office tools

Preferred Education/Experience:

• Prior experience in the insurance industry
• Bachelor's degree
