Job Details We are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney with a litigation or transactional background. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of legal matters, providing expert advice to clients, and representing our firm with the highest level of professionalism. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Handle a broad range of legal matters.
2. Provide expert advice to clients on a variety of legal issues, ensuring their best interests are always prioritized.
3. Represent our firm in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations, displaying exceptional advocacy skills and a deep understanding of the law.
4. Conduct thorough and detailed research to support legal proceedings and to provide advice on complex legal matters.
5. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and contracts with precision and accuracy.
6. Collaborate with legal team members to develop effective defense strategies and to ensure all legal matters are handled efficiently and effectively.
7. Stay updated on current laws and regulations within the legal industry, and apply this knowledge to current cases and processes.
8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Minimum of two years of experience as a practicing attorney.
3. Admission to the state bar of Montana.
4. Experience in litigation and/or transactional law is preferred.
5. Exceptional research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
6. Outstanding negotiation and advocacy skills.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear and understandable manner.
8. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
9. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
10. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
11. Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
12. Proficiency in using legal software and technology.
