Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of auto body repairs on vehicles that have sustained damage. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate vehicle damage to determine necessary repair methods.
• Perform structural repairs, including frame alignment, panel replacement, and dent removal.
• Repair and replace damaged parts, including fenders, hoods, doors, and bumpers.
• Sand, prime, and prepare surfaces for painting.
• Perform refinishing and painting tasks, ensuring a seamless and high-quality finish.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding repair status and any additional work required.
• Continuously update knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role.
• Strong understanding of auto body repair techniques, materials, and tools.
• Ability to use specialized equipment, including frame machines, welders, and spray guns.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Must be within driving distance to Pear River, LA.
