Job Title: Automated Testing Engineer

Department: Site Reliability Engineering

About The Role

The Automated Testing Engineer (ATE) plays a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of PMMC's software products. This role combines quality assurance expertise with automation technology to streamline testing processes. The ATE collaborates with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to understand application changes, execute automated test cases, and provide timely feedback on software quality.

Responsibilities:

Software Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Gain deep knowledge of PMMC applications to assess the impact of software changes.
  • Execute exploratory, manual, and automated test cases to validate functionality.
  • Maintain and enhance automated test scripts using industry-standard tools.
  • Interpret test results and provide clear, detailed feedback to development teams.

Automation & Tool Management

  • Utilize and maintain test automation tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Manage test execution environments, including browser compatibility and OS configurations.
  • Support continuous integration (CI) by executing automation test scripts in Azure DevOps.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements.
  • Document and communicate test results effectively to stakeholders.
  • Foster strong relationships within the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in software engineering.
  • 2+ years of relevant software testing or automation experience.
  • Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver and test automation frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, .NET framework, C#, and SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, test script execution, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency in web technologies, Windows network environments, and server management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with revenue cycle software is a plus.
