Overview Behavioral Research Scientist (Journeyman) at One Federal Solution to support a government client. This position provides applied social science research in support of personnel vetting modernization efforts. The role will work closely with senior researchers and stakeholders to collect data, perform qualitative coding, and draft reports that inform policy and program improvements. Responsibilities Conduct applied social science research related to personnel security and financial alerts Assist with interviews, surveys, stakeholder meetings, and literature reviews Support qualitative data analysis using NVIVO or similar software Draft sections of reports, APA-style documents, and meeting summaries Contribute to systematic research methodologies, including field observations and focus groups Provide analytical support for evaluation and policy development Help synthesize input from SMEs, adjudicators, and policy experts into research findings Qualifications Active DoD Secret clearance Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in a relevant social science field (experience may substitute for education) 2-3 years of professional experience in social science or behavioral research Prior experience in a DoD or Federal Government environment strongly preferred, including familiarity with personnel security processes Experience conducting qualitative and/or quantitative research using tools such as NVIVO Strong writing skills with experience drafting reports, summaries, or APA-style documentation Excellent communication and collaboration skills About One Federal Solution One Federal Solution (OFS) is an innovative Professional Services provider with over 20 years of experience supporting Defense and Civilian agencies.
