BOILER OPERATOR

Overnight Shift, Sign-On Bonus Up to $4K

What You'll Be Doing

• Operating boiler/refrigeration systems effectively and efficiently.
• Responding to chemical leaks/spills as a member of the plant Emergency Response Team.
• Communicating with equipment manufacturers/vendors to resolve problems.
• Working with different refrigerants, chemicals, and lubricants.
• Operating and maintaining engine room and other equipment.
• Developing standard operating procedures regarding safety and production.
• Performing routine boiler water maintenance and analysis.
• Manipulating valves, pumps, and auxiliary machinery.
• Operating facility fire monitoring system.
• Reading and understanding equipment and system drawings.
• Maintaining, adjusting, and repairing utility systems and equipment controls.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 2+ years of boiler maintenance experience.
• Must hold a Class 1B or 2B Minnesota Boiler License.
• Experience in operating and maintaining ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Ability to respond to chemical leaks/spills.
• Experience in performing routine boiler water maintenance and analysis.
• Ability to read and understand equipment and system drawings.
• Experience in maintaining, adjusting, and repairing utility systems and equipment controls.
