FINANCIAL COORDINATOR – Middleton, WI

Temporary to Hire career opportunity

$22.00/hour DOE

Monday – Thursday NO FRIDAYS / Core hours 7:00 am – 5:00 pm

30+ hours per week

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • General Ledger and monthly statement preparation (e.g. balance sheet, profit and loss)
  • Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Reporting, Clerical
  • Assist with Nonprofit budget development
  • Monthly Bank Reconciliations
  • Online Banking and Remote Deposit Transactions
  • Enter memberships (new and renewals) into the database
  • Respond to emails, mail and phone calls

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience (3 year minimum)
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Microsoft Office 365
  • Knowledgeable in Nonprofit Accounting
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Be an independent worker with exceptional attention to detail
  • Comfortable working as a small team
  • Ability to multitask and be flexible
  • Have a positive and professional attitude and demeanor

Required Experience:

  • Requires 3 to 5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, or education, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reports
