Manpower has a unique opportunity to partner with a company working to save endangered species. Our client is dedicated to preserving natural habitats and supporting wildlife conservation, in the greater Mohave Desert.We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to support their financial operations and efficiently manage resources to further their mission.
Schedule: Remote - Weekly Meeting: Participate in a recurring business meeting every Tuesday from 8:30-9:30 AM PT (attendance required).
- Availability: Available for pre-scheduled calls and respond to urgent emails within 1 business day.
- Flexible Hours: Work hours can be distributed throughout the week or weekend as needed, with tasks completed on a self-directed basis. This is a part-time position, requiring 15-20 hours a week.
Key Responsibilities: - Invoice Management: Review and prepare invoices (Accounts Receivable) for existing and new contracts.
- Payment Processing: Validate and process payments to contractors, vendors, and service providers.
- Follow-Up: Manage outstanding invoices and provide necessary clarifications to our partners and supporters, including government agencies and non-profit organizations.
- Forecasting: Develop a quarterly financial forecast to aid in budgeting and project planning.
- Month-End Reconciliation: Prepare and review month-end details and reconcile books to ensure accuracy.
- Financial Guidance: Provide recommendations for improving financial efficiency and effectiveness in alignment with our mission.
Requirements: - Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
