CGI+ is a boutique hospitality real estate collection based in Los Angeles, specializing in multifamily and hospitality properties. With a mixed asset portfolio that includes ground-up construction and value-add properties, CGI+ is dedicated to delivering luxury experiences while maintaining a personalized approach. We are looking for a dynamic leader to join our team as Brand Ambassador & Business Development Director.

Job Summary:

The Brand Ambassador & Business Development Director will be responsible for shaping and executing the overall brand strategy across all CGI+ properties, ensuring a strong brand presence and resonation with our target audience. This role will also oversee business development efforts, foster relationships with potential clients, and drive events across properties, ensuring each property maximizes its full potential. Additionally, this person will provide leadership and training to the sales teams across properties to drive performance and maintain a cohesive brand message.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Strategy and Management

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive brand strategy to ensure strong, consistent brand presence across all properties.
  2. Develop brand alignment, ensuring each property speaks to the core values of CGI+ while addressing the unique needs of the market.
  3. Conduct market research to understand trends, competitor activities, and client preferences to continuously refine and strengthen the brand.

Business Development

  1. Lead the company’s business development efforts to increase occupancy rates and secure partnerships for events, conferences, and other engagements.
  2. Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients, partners, and corporate event planners to maximize the utilization of CGI+ properties for events and special bookings.
  3. Develop strategic partnerships that enhance property value and align with the brand’s long-term growth objectives.

Event Management

  1. Oversee and manage the booking and execution of events on CGI+ properties to drive revenue and enhance the guest experience.
  2. Work with property teams to ensure the flawless execution of events, including logistics, planning, and client satisfaction.

Client Relationship Management

  1. Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with high-profile clients, partners, and event organizers.
  2. Act as the primary point of contact for VIP clients and corporate partnerships, ensuring an exceptional experience for all stakeholders.
  3. Develop and implement client retention strategies to foster long-term relationships and repeat business.

Sales Team Leadership and Training

  1. Provide training, mentorship, and leadership to on-site sales teams across properties to ensure alignment with CGI+ brand values and business goals.
  2. Work closely with sales teams to improve client engagement techniques, enhance performance, and ensure consistent messaging across all properties.
  3. Develop and implement sales strategies that maximize revenue while delivering high levels of guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 6 years of experience in business development, brand management, or a related leadership role, ideally within hospitality, real estate, or luxury markets.
  2. Proven track record of building and growing a brand, especially within boutique or luxury sectors.
  3. Strong understanding of hospitality and real estate markets, with experience in event planning and client management.
  4. Exceptional leadership skills with experience training and mentoring sales teams.
  5. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities, with a talent for connecting with clients and partners.
  6. Creative problem solver with a strategic mindset, able to work autonomously and lead cross-functional teams.
