As a Business Analytics Consultant Sr. within PNC's Balance Sheet Management organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA.

This position resides within PNC’s Balance Sheet Management function, providing modeling and analytics support to PNC. This position is primarily based in a PNC location (Pittsburgh, PA). Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at manager’s
discretion.

Ideal candidate possesses a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance and/or Data Analytics. A secondary focus in accounting, economics and/or mathematics is also desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities:
• Deliver financial reporting performance metrics to key internal stakeholders and leadership, including Asset-Liability Management, Balance Sheet Analytics, and Finance and Accounting.
• Develop subject matter expertise in specific banking product(s) and/or lines-of-business and apply to the consolidated balance sheet forecast.
• Execute analysis on various balance sheet categories, to help communicate and defend the balance sheet and NII forecast results.
• Leverage SQL, Python, Excel, and/or QRM (Quantitative Risk Management) to streamline data analysis and address modeling needs.
• Partner with Model Risk Management and other risk stakeholders in reviewing the validity and reliability of assumptions to identify opportunities for improvement.

Job Description

• Leverages complex analytical tools to provide business and technical expertise for the analytics process, tools and useful applications across multiple functions or business units to create data driven solutions.
• Consulting to clients on tool and strategy implementation and monitoring, statistical scoring, business intelligence, data quality, and analytical product / solution development.
• Determining the optimal analytic approach and supporting development, implementation and enhancements.
• Conceptualizing, developing and continuously optimizing analytical solution for operations and executive management to enable data driven decision making.
• Analyze results and make recommendations for key business partners and senior management or communicate conclusions from complex analytical solutions to a wide range of audiences.
