Job Summary:
The Business Data Analyst will be responsible for organizing, consolidating, and analysing congressional and legislative data to support the Defense Logistics Agency's (DLA) Legislative Affairs Office. This role involves ensuring data accuracy, developing reports, and identifying areas for improvement in data management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and consolidate congressional and legislative data for analysis.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of data entry in DLA database platforms.
• Analyse data for reporting purposes and identify areas of improvement.
• Develop and implement a weekly data review checklist to maintain up-to-date information.
• Collaborate with DLA staff to address data gaps and inefficiencies.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in legislative or technical fields.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Project Management).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.

Work Environment & Schedule

• Hybrid role: Primarily remote with 2 days of on-site work at Fort Belvoir, VA (Wednesdays/ Thursdays).

Target salary range: $70,000 - $75,000
