Description:

The safety of the ship, equipment, passengers, crew and the safe operation of vessel whilst at the same time responsible for protecting Company's commercial interests.

Responsible for coordinating, supporting, and delivering an exceptional guest service for our travelers in accordance with Grand Circle Cruise Line (GCCL) standards, while contributing to a positive work environment.

Primary (Non-Exhaustive) Responsibilities:

• Practicing GCCL values

• Fully responsible for operating safely the ship during his watch

• Responsible for safety on board: performing safety drill as of beginning of each cruise,

providing safety training and familiarization to safety to crew members, maintaining the safety

and firefighting equipment.

• Maintaining and up keeping the ship according to existing laws and regulations

• Following up on paperwork related to the above duties

• Deploying and supervising Nautical crew on board

• Cooperating with other Departments

• Contributing to offer our passengers a pleasant experience on board

• Other duties as required

Skills/Qualifications:

•License for Captain ; French rivers

• Minimum four years of experience preferably gained on passenger or cargo river ships

• Proven leadership abilities and excellent communication skills

• Strong organizational and computer skills

• Hands On mentality

• Team player

• Leadership skills

• Good command of English, French & German as secondary language skill is welcomed

• Eligilibity to work in EU
