Caregiver - Non ClinicalLocation: SISTERS OF THE HOLY FAMILY, FREMONT - 13535002Workdays/shifts: Weekends - afternoon/evening and/or overnight shifts. What You'll Do: As a Caregiver - Non Clinical at Sodexo, you provide support to elder residents in a Sodexo managed business by assisting with a variety of tasks, including preparing light snacks, playing games, doing art projects and so much more. Responsibilities include:Accompany residents to appointments, errands, and social outings.Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning, doing laundry, and organizing.Assist residents with minor computer/tablet, printer, or cell phone needs.Act as a source of facility knowledge for residents, guests, and visitors who seek information, guidance, and assistance.Provide concierge services to residents, visitors, and guests. Assist in de-escalating minor conflicts among residents. Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularityOther duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.What You Bring:High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience. Knowledge of common medical conditions, and personal care skills. Informal or formal caregiving experience with specific knowledge and experience in caring for adults with dementia and Alzheimer's Disease.Previous experience in caregiving, senior services, hospitality, or customer service preferred. Caregiver certification is preferred (or must obtain within 60 days of employment)CPR/BLS Certification preferred (or must obtain within 60 days of employment)Food handling certification may be required if required by applicable city/county/state law or regulations.
