Job Description

Position Title: Carpenter

Wage: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 7:00am-4:00pm

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity for a Carpenter at a company in Franksville, WI. This is a 1st shift, direct hire position.

Carpenter Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Build buildings according to provided plans and specifications.
- Ability to follow construction process from start to finish in a timely fashion.
- Ability to work on multiple construction projects simultaneously and efficiently.
- Work with project management to accurately forecast material needs.

Carpenter Requirements:
- Basic construction knowledge & manufacturing experience including how to read plans and specifications.
- Knowledge of how to use basic hand tools such as hammer, drills, and various saws.
- Knowledge of how to use and read levels and tape measure.
- Problem Solving/Analysis.
- Strong Communication Skills.
- Flexibility.
- Multitasking.
- Detail oriented.
- Regularly required to talk or hear. 
- Frequently required to stand; walk; and reach with hands and arms. 
- Required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. 
- Frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 50 pounds. 
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
