A bit about us: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Case Manager to join our prestigious law firm. This position is perfect for a professional with a strong background in Personal Injury Law and a passion for navigating complex legal scenarios. The Consulting Case Manager will work closely with our legal team to ensure client cases are handled efficiently and effectively.   1. Managing and overseeing personal injury cases from inception through resolution.
  2. Ensuring legal compliance in all case dealings and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes in personal injury law.
  3. Conducting comprehensive risk assessments for each case and developing strategies to minimize potential risks.
  4. Drafting, reviewing, and managing legal documents and correspondence with precision and accuracy.
  5. Conducting thorough client assessments to understand their needs and expectations, and providing them with appropriate legal advice.
  6. Negotiating with insurance adjusters and medical providers to settle claims and medical bills.
  7. Regularly communicating with medical providers and adjusters to update medical bills and records.
  8. Preparing files for demand, including gathering and updating medical records, liens, and other necessary documents.
  9. Utilizing Microsoft Office tools for the creation and management of case files and legal documents.
  10. Opening new files and ordering bills and records as required.
Qualifications: The successful candidate should have:
  1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a law firm, with at least 2 years specializing in personal injury law.
  2. Comprehensive knowledge of personal injury law, legal compliance, and risk assessment.
  3. Proven experience in handling insurance claims and negotiating with insurance adjusters and medical providers.
  4. Proficiency in legal writing and documentation, with exceptional attention to detail.
  5. Strong experience in client assessment, with the ability to understand and cater to client needs effectively.
  6. Excellent negotiation skills, with a proven track record of successful claim settlements.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  8. Experience in managing medical bills, medical records liens, and preparing files for demand.
  9. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  10. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex legal information in a clear and concise manner.
