Jefferson Wells is excited to partner with a leading client in the construction industry to find a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in Northeast Waukesha County. If you have a passion for financial leadership and a background in construction cost accounting, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with over 10 years of accounting experience.
• In-depth knowledge of construction cost accounting or project-based accounting.

• Oversee budgets, costs, and profitability for construction projects.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Handle fixed assets, including tax and book depreciation.
• Analyze cost variances and forecast profitability to drive financial success.
• Communicate with project managers on job-related matters to ensure project alignment.
• Prepare monthly financial reports to keep stakeholders informed.
• Compile quarterly consolidated financial reports, including current-year pro-forma.
• Collaborate with external auditors to ensure timely completion of audits.
• Maintain accurate financial transaction records and proper documentation.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations in the US and Canada.
• Reconcile quarterly and annual payroll data and file payroll tax reports.
• Manage reciprocal union agreements with Laborers, Teamsters, and Operating Engineers unions.
