Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Device Clinical Specialist with a background in clinical trial patient recruitment and in-field market development to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing clinical support to our customers, educating them on the safe and effective use of our medical devices, and assisting in the development and execution of marketing strategies for our products. The ideal candidate should have a strong clinical background, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience in premarket development.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide technical, clinical, and programming support to customers, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure safe and effective use of our medical devices.
• Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers on the use and application of our medical devices.
• Collaborate with the R&D and Clinical Operations teams to provide clinical and technical support during the conduct of our clinical studies.
• Integrate into all accounts, builds trust and relationships and establishes strong rapport with customers.
• Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase awareness and drive patient referrals into our clinical studies.
• Conduct patient education and physician education initiatives to increase awareness of our medical devices and ongoing clinical activities.
• Attend medical conferences and trade shows to increase company awareness and stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities.
• Collect and analyze customer feedback and market research to identify product improvement opportunities and trends.
• Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field, such as nursing, occupational or physical. Therapy, and/or biomedical engineering.
• 3+ years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in medical device sales or support.
• Strong understanding of good clinical practices, procedures, and protocols.
• Experience in marketing, including developing and executing marketing strategies, professional education programs, and patient awareness initiatives
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both clinical and non-clinical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Excellent organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
• Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.
• Capable of building strong working relationships with internal/external customers
• Ability to travel domestically up to 70%, as needed.
