• Contract, 12 Months (Possible Extension / Permanent Conversion)
• This position requires residence in Maryland and the ability to work on-site at our client's Baltimore, MD (Canton neighborhood) office 2-3 days per week. Occasional travel to local healthcare provider offices will also be required.

Overview & Responsibilities

• Join a dedicated Government Programs quality team at a leading healthcare organization. We are seeking two skilled and detail-oriented Clinical Review Nurses for a 12-month contract. In this role, you will leverage your clinical expertise to perform medical record reviews and data abstraction, playing a vital part in the HEDIS process to improve healthcare quality and outcomes. If you have a strong clinical background and are looking to apply your skills in a new way, this is an excellent opportunity for you. Comprehensive HEDIS training is provided.

You will…

• Perform detailed abstractions of clinical data from member medical records.
• Review and extract key information from provider records to support HEDIS quality measures.
• For experienced candidates, conduct overreads of abstracted charts to ensure accuracy.
• Occasionally travel to local provider offices to collect and manage medical records.

Required Qualifications

• Must possess an active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• A minimum of five (5) years of hands-on clinical experience is required.
• Must reside in the state of Maryland.
• Demonstrated experience navigating Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel .

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with HEDIS chart abstraction and review.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Experience using EPIC or CareSeed software.
