Role Summary The Cloud Software Engineer will conduct cloud software research, development, and engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, integration, testing, and issue resolution. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and test new features for cloud native services. Conduct containerization and deployment training sessions. Develop API interfaces for operational data. Analyze user requirements for software design. Debug and correct software defects. Improve documentation and development standards. Develop and modify software to add features and integrate into systems. Create data queries and document software and system details. Design database interfaces and develop algorithms for system performance. Assist in testing procedures and analyze system performance. Modify software for errors, hardware adaptation, and performance improvements. Design, develop, and maintain high-performance cloud applications using modern cloud technologies. Apply configuration management and best practices in software development. Required Qualifications Top Secret/SCI security clearance with Full Scope Poly. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent cloud experience. 4+ years of relevant cloud experience. Experience with Cloud Distributed File Systems, MapReduce analytics, and Cloud Coordination Frameworks. Certifications like Cloudera Hadoop, Cloud+, AWS, or Azure may substitute for experience.
