Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to join their team. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting machining operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

Location: Carlos, MN

Pay Range: $23+/hour

Shift: Night: Monday-Thursday, 4:30 pm - 3:00 am

What's the Job?

• Operate computer numerically controlled (CNC) horizontal lathes, mills, or turning centers to perform machining operations such as turning, boring, facing, and threading parts
• Read and interpret process sheets, blueprints, and sketches to determine operating requirements
• Set up workpieces securely and start machining cycles, ensuring precision and quality
• Perform in-process inspections and verify dimensional adjustments using gauges and measurement tools
• Maintain machine coolant levels and monitor machine performance during operation

What's Needed?

• Prior CNC machining experience is required; this is not an entry-level position
• Ability to read blueprints, process sheets, and technical instructions
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
