Responsibilities : Experience with all phases of commercial litigation Conducting factual investigations and discovery Preparing pleadings, taking depositions, arguing motions, participating in mediation, and communicating with clients Experience in both state and federal court is preferred Experience in administrative matters and arbitrations is beneficial Must have taken at least 5+ depositions with being a lead on them Candidate requirements : 5+ years Commercial Litigation experience ideally across a broad spectrum of commercial disciplines e.g. health law, breach of contract, antitrust and privacy, finance/banking, consumer fraud etc Strong experience across investigations and discovery, pleadings, depositions, arguing motions and client communication Excellent academic credentials The ability to effectively handle multiple projects and articulate legal strategies Proactive, dynamic, and entrepreneurial 1900 billable hours with an expectation to do business development Certifications : Candidate must be admitted and able to practice in Illinois Benefits of Firm : Hybrid working flexibility – Employee's are expected to be working from their Chicago office 2-3 days a week Excellent Compensation – They provide a highly competitive salary, performance-based bonuses, and a generous benefits package Inclusive Culture – The firm is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
