Configuration Analyst

Position Description
US CITIZENSHIP AND ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED

CGI Federal is currently seeking Configuration Analysts with active Top-Secret clearances to support a large project for a federal government client. This position can be filled in Washington, DC or Huntsville, AL.

Your future duties and responsibilities
This Configuration Analyst candidate will be working on IT support, automation, continuous and integration/continuous delivery initiatives.
• Work with the Technical Lead and Architect to develop configuration management processes.
• Execute configuration management processes against software products.
• Track and document configuration changes and dependencies.
• Maintain, roll out, and roll back product builds on demand.
• Execute coordinated deployments to Test, UAT, and production environments.
• Perform audits within our USPTO project, with high precision and accuracy.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5-8 years' experience as a Configuration Analyst.
• Linux Admin, VMWare vSphere 6/7 experience, SPLUNK Server administration, Dell Server, and SAN Storage hardware experience.
• Experience with Docker, Microsoft SQL, Oracle databases, Angular, JavaScript including Ember.js, Spring Boot, Spring, in addition to a focus on cloud skillsets, specifically AWS solution architecture.
• Strong Oracle database and MS SQL experience is required.
• Active Top-Secret clearance.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $60,300.00 - $146,800.00.
