A well-established construction company in San Antonio is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who excels at managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractors while delivering high-quality builds on time and on budget.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of commercial construction projects, from preconstruction to project closeout
• Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and cost controls
• Lead meetings with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
• Oversee subcontractor procurement, contracts, and performance
• Review plans, specifications, and change orders to ensure accuracy and alignment
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and regulatory guidelines
• Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and internal teams
• Identify and resolve issues proactively to keep projects on track

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple subcontractors
• Experience with construction software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project)
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with construction plans, specifications, and reporting
• Ability to manage multiple project sites across the San Antonio area
