Accounts Payable Clerk

About the Company and Opportunity:

• Our client is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team
• Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, this role will perform day-to-day accounting duties including full cycle accounts payable

Overview of the Accounts Payable Clerk role:

• Multi-location reporting
• Enter invoices and vendor statements
• GL coding of invoices
• Pay invoices in accordance with credit terms
• Correspond appropriately and as needed with vendors
• Reconcile vendor accounts
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Support month-end closing processes
• File documents in an accurate and timely manner
• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Clerk:

• 1+ years of Accounts Payable experience
• Knowledge of general accounting
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and accounting software

Salary: $24-25/hour
