Job Description
Overview
This is a data center project, focused on large-scale fiber patching using pre-terminated assemblies. Ashburn is already active and requires consistent staffing with clean, organized technicians who can work independently and follow process. Day shift runs twelve months, night and graveyard run three to four months.
Responsibilities
• Inspect and clean fiber using proper procedures
• Label fiber on both ends using flag labels
• Install pre-terminated fiber cables following cabling matrix
• Use existing pathways, overhead ladders, and trays
• Dress, secure, and organize fiber cleanly
• Keep a safe and tidy work area inside live data halls
• Report blockers, missing materials, or issues to the lead immediately
Requirements
• Basic English communication
• Background check within past three years
• Standard drug screen
• Valid ID with name, DOB, and photo for site access
• Reliable, punctual, able to work eight-hour shifts with weekends off
• Ladder work only (no lifts)
• Must follow PPE rules
