****FT Delivery Driver****

**The Company**
Smallhold is an agriculture technology company that builds climate-controlled, subscription-supported Minifarms for restaurants and retailers. We manage our remotely, making it possible for anyone to grow meaningful amounts of produce, effortlessly. Smallhold is a pioneer in indoor farming, providing access to the freshest, most local food imaginable. Smallhold is also the only organic farm in NYC, the only mushroom farm in NYC, and the worlds first Distributed Farm.
**The Challenge**
* Coordinate delivery routes with Assistant Farm Manager
* Process and load in fresh mushroom orders to be delivered
* Drive to customer locations, follow proper delivery procedures, get invoices signed
* Follow Food Safety Protocols during delivery
* Perform necessary vehicle cleaning and maintenance procedures
* Bring vehicles to mechanic and keep up repairs as necessary
* Loading dock maintenance and upkeep, farm preparation for shipments
* 1x a week overnight drive
* Receive shipments of pallets on a weekly basis, or as needed
**The Qualifications**
The ideal candidate will have:
* Valid drivers license, CDL or previous commercial delivery experience a plus
* 3 years experience navigating New York City by vehicle
* Ability to safely and confidently drive large vans and box trucks
* Record-keeping and food safety proficiency
* Strong communication skills and preference for working in team environments
* Physical requirements: must be able to lift 50 pounds
* Passion for local and sustainable food
* Forklift experience and/or certification a plus
**Details**
* Hours: M/F - 7AM (earliest) - 4pm, W - 6pm-6am (latest), Sundays 11:30-3pm (as needed). There will be another night shift added after a month which will mean taking you off a day shift
* Salary: $49,280, bonus and benefits based on tenure
* Driver reports to South Williamsburg, Brooklyn
