Ryder Employees who Drive on this account earn $1092 or more Weekly and it gets better

• Ryder Drivers are Paid Weekly
• Hourly Pay: $23.00 Per Hour
• Mile Reimbursement to Locations after 25 miles- $0.64 cpm
• Hours Per Week: 40 - 50 or more hours per week
• Paid Training
• Schedule: Sunday-Saturday Operation- will have 2 consecutive days off
• Start Time: Dispatch 8:00 PM OR 3:00 AM 8 - 13 hours per shift

• Deliver SOLO To: 80 mile radius of Owings Mills, Catonsville, Rockville, Alexandria, Fredericksburg, Waldorf, North Wales, Gambrills and Salisbury - Will be required to float to any of these Locations as needed.
• Route: Local Home Daily
• Tractor Type: Van
• Trailer Type: 20' Reefer
• Equipment: Hand Truck & Rolling Racks
• Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful
• Freight: Touch – Doughnuts

Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Must have verifiable driving experience (*must be in like equipment if position being applied for is operating a straight truck or box truck):
• 6 Months experience in the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
• Important Note: Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts.

Responsibilities

• This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a vehicle within and requires compliance with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service.
• Additional Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
• Maintaining accurate records Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Other tasks as assigned
