About the team Mind Company's mission is to build non-invasive neural interfaces - that is, enabling a communication layer between humans and other humans or computers, directly using thoughts. In pursuit of this mission, our team builds brainwave reading hardware devices and machine learning models that help translate brainwaves into useful forms. About the role As our design intern, you'll be responsible for ensuring consistently great design across all external touch points with the company. This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We're an in-person company who deeply believe that great products are not built working from home. In this role, you'll: Work on branding Design the website Design the UI/UX for our software products Contribute to social media marketing efforts We're looking for candidates with the following traits: Juniors or Seniors 2+ years of course work or practical work with Figma (required), Adobe PS and similar tools Interested in technology startups and how they use branding and UX to differentiate themselves and their products Willing to work hard to balance both work and school Curious about the brain, and passionate about unlocking human-computer interaction Strong leadership skills and self-starter, able to carry a project from beginning to end About Mind Company Mind Company is 6-person neuro-tech startup with the mission of building noninvasive neural interfaces. We build our own hardware systems which measure brain data, collect proprietary training datasets, and train useful ML models.
