Job Summary:
Bio Recovery is a leading national provider of biohazard remediation and cleaning services. With a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and compassion, we assist individuals and communities in recovering from traumatic incidents.

We are seeking a professional and experienced Desk Claims Adjuster to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with our sales and support team as well as our remediation technicians in the field to manage claims activity for our company and on behalf of our customers. The ideal candidate will be highly organized with strong analytical and writing skills as well as professional and pleasant phone manners. You will be our company's primary point of contact with the insurance carriers. Your responsibilities will include:

• Submitting claims
• Preparing invoices using Xactimate
• Handling claims issues with and providing supplemental information to insurance carriers
• Negotiating the settlement of claims
• Following up to collect payment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Five years of experience in insurance, specifically in claims adjusting, estimating, and/or billing
• Must have proficient computer skills, and experience using Xactimate is required
• Biohazard remediation experience is a major plus
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and experience writing detailed reports
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professional and pleasant phone manners
