Salary: Base $275,000-$300,000 + 20% Bonus

A private real estate investment and development group is seeking a Director of Construction to oversee the delivery of landmark, ground-up developments — with a particular emphasis on Class A office buildings and mixed-use assets.

This is a pivotal executive role for a proven construction leader who has not only managed but successfully built office buildings from the ground up. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge, executive-level leadership, and a demonstrated ability to deliver complex commercial projects to exceptional standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of construction across luxury and commercial office developments, from concept through completion.
• Oversee design coordination, contractor selection, budgeting, and schedule management for multi-phase builds.
• Implement rigorous quality control, safety, and compliance procedures across all project sites.
• Build and lead a high-performing internal and external construction management team.
• Collaborate with senior leadership, architects, engineers, and investors to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of progressive construction leadership experience.
• Proven experience delivering ground-up Class A office buildings — mixed-use or hospitality experience a plus.
• Deep understanding of structural systems, MEP coordination, and tenant build-out processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (Master’s or PMP/LEED AP preferred).
• Strong commercial acumen, leadership, and communication skills.
