About The Role & Team

Webull Securities (Canada) Ltd provides a mobile-first investing platform for retails investors. We are looking for a talented financial services professional in the Toronto area to help lead our rapidly growing team. As the Director of Trading and Operations you will play a pivotal role in expanding our product offerings.

In This Role, You Will

• Establish and oversee daily operational and trading processes in collaboration with our established US team; objectively analyze existing processes and identify opportunities to improve and streamline.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure tasks are completed and issues are resolved within a timely manner.
• Maintain strong relationships with local partners, vendors, and banks (enhancements and issue resolution) in collaboration with US stakeholders.
• Provide inspiring leadership to a vibrant branch office and foster an effective system of communication with them.

The Skills You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, or Finance
• 7-10+ years of experience in relevant field; prior Fintech and/or prior production experience working at a retail broker dealer environment.
• CSC, CPH, IDSC, courses required
• Expert knowledge of Canadian operations, markets, and trading landscape.
• A detailed understanding of the technical and operational workflows of the equity and options markets.
• Ability to strategically and conceptually operate, while applying good judgement in developing solutions for key business issues.

What Makes You Stand Out

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask in a start-up environment.
• Prior experience in crypto trading and familiarity with the broader cryptocurrency landscape.
• A basic understanding of the AI space
• An ability to balance and effectively prioritize diverse challenges and conflicting responsibilities.
• DFOL & OPSC strongly encouraged: PDO and other CSI courses an asset.

This role is based in our Canada Operations (Toronto, CA), where in-person collaboration fuels growth, mentorship, and innovation. At Webull, we’re committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. The base salary range is $150-160,000 CAD annually, plus a discretionary bonus and benefits. Final offers consider experience, location, and relevant qualifications.
