Job Description

LaSalle Network is hiring on behalf of a global specialized imports company seeking a Director, Sales & Operations to join their team due to a retirement! This organization supplies specialized toiletries to a variety of customers including hospitality, healthcare and disaster relief programs.


The Director, Sales & Operations will be responsible for overseeing the alignment of sales goals with production capabilities, ensuring the efficient flow of products from production to the customer, and driving operational efficiency. This role combines strategic sales planning with operational execution to meet customer demand, optimize production schedules, and improve overall business performance.


This position will be based full-time in Nashville, TN.



Director, Sales & Operations Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals
  • Lead the design and execution of end-to-end supply chain processes, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and adaptable
  • Provide leadership and direction to the supply chain team, including managers and staff across various functions (procurement, logistics, warehousing, etc.)
  • Collaborate with the sales team to forecast demand, understand market trends, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Analyze sales data and provide insights to senior management for decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, logistics providers, and internal departments (e.g., procurement, sales, and production)
  • Act as the primary point of contact for senior leadership regarding all supply chain-related matters
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the supply chain, ensuring smooth and efficient movement of goods from suppliers to customers
  • Monitor performance indicators, such as on-time delivery, inventory accuracy and order fulfillment rates
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize supply chain processes to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency
  • Ensure the implementation of best practices in supply chain management, including the use of technology, automation and data analytics to improve decision-making

Director, Sales & Operations Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain operations
  • 5+ years of people management experience
  • Strong understanding of global supply chain dynamics, logistics and international trade regulations
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis and cost management
