Job Title: Documentation Improvement Consultant

Duties:

• Review and enhance clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with coding standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to address gaps or ambiguities in patient records.
• Leverage EPIC and 3M systems to maintain and update documentation workflows.
• Conduct training sessions to educate staff on documentation best practices.
• Analyze documentation trends and prepare reports for quality improvement initiatives.

Skills Required:

• Expertise in EPIC and 3M platforms.
• Strong knowledge of medical coding and clinical documentation practices.

Education:

• BS degree required.
• Active RN, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant license.

Experience:

• At least 5 years of acute care or clinical documentation improvement experience.
