Job Description

Nexeo HR is looking for a talented and self-sufficient Drafter/Designer to join our team in Logan, UT ! This is an exciting opportunity for a creative professional with a strong design background who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys seeing their ideas come to life.

We are open to candidates with varying levels of experience and encourage all qualified applicants to apply . While 3+ years of experience is preferred, we welcome individuals at all stages of their careers with different pay expectations to be part of our team.

Responsibilities

• Create technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.).

• Interpret design concepts from clients and general contractors to produce accurate and clear documentation.

• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and construction teams to ensure all technical aspects are covered.

• Revise drawings based on client and project feedback.

• Maintain project documentation and records, ensuring all updates and changes are properly recorded.

• 3+ Years of experience is preferable.

• Develop design concepts based on client needs, preferences, and project goals.

• Select materials, furniture, lighting, and color schemes that align with design objectives.

• Create 2D and 3D renderings using design software to present design ideas clearly.

• Collaborate with contractors and clients to ensure smooth implementation of designs.

• Present design proposals and manage project budgets effectively.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.).

• Strong spatial awareness and attention to detail.

• Creativity with the ability to balance design aesthetics and functionality.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaboration with clients and teams.

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage timelines and budgets.

• Highly organized, personable professional who is comfortable managing both design and project management aspects of projects.

Pay

$20.00 – $30.00 Per Hour DOE

Schedule

Day Shift | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Monday – Friday
