E-Commerce Manager

Onsite 5 days/week

Job Summary:

We are looking for an E-Commerce Manager who is passionate about e-commerce and has a strong project management mindset. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and E-Commerce, this role will drive strategy, blending commerce, promotions, and content to enhance our site. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, and enjoys taking on challenges. This position oversees all aspects of an online store, including functionality, product listings, marketing campaigns, and customer experience, with the ultimate goal of driving online sales and maximizing revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Create and execute e-commerce strategies focused on product selection, pricing, promotions, and marketing campaigns.
  • Website Management: Ensure the functionality and user experience of the online store, providing a seamless customer journey.
  • Product Listings & Content Creation: Manage product listings, descriptions, images, and ensure accurate website content.
  • Onsite Marketing: Drive traffic and conversions through SEO, content marketing, and website promotions.
  • Sales Analysis & Reporting: Monitor performance, analyze customer data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Conversion Optimization: Implement A/B testing and strategies to improve website conversion rates.
  • Customer Service: Address and resolve online order and website functionality issues.
  • Inventory Management: Coordinate with warehouse teams for accurate inventory tracking and order fulfillment.
  • Technology Management: Stay updated on e-commerce tools and platforms, implementing improvements to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Mobile Commerce: Develop mobile commerce strategies to capture and grow the mobile shopping audience.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, merchandising, and operations teams to align efforts and messaging.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor and optimize key metrics, such as revenue, conversion rates, and customer retention.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of e-commerce specialists and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in e-commerce platforms and architectures.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of e-commerce management experience with a proven track record.
  • Strong knowledge of e-commerce best practices, UX design, and conversion optimization.
  • Familiarity with marketplaces like eBay and Amazon (DxH experience preferred).
  • Proficiency with GA4, Jira, and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of ADA compliance and relevant legal aspects of online sales.

Contract Talent The salary range for this position is 25/hr to 30/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
