Kelly Services is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician for a long-term contract opportunity supporting operations at multiple sites for top petrochemical client. This position involves travel and hands-on work at pipeline pump stations, meter stations, and satellite sites.

\n Location: Houston, TX, with travel to Beaumont, Baytown, and Chicago
\n Pay Rate: $46.65/hr.
\n Contract: 1 year (possible extension)
\n Main Functions: \n

\n\t
• Research and review all existing electrical drawings for designated sites.\n\t
• Verify incoming power (“medium voltage to low voltage”) and PLC low voltage inputs.\n\t
• Conduct visual inspections of junction boxes, pull boxes, PLC cabinets, disconnects/MCC enclosures, and switch gear for labeling and identification.\n\t
• Make labeling/identification adjustments, properly tag enclosures, pipe runs, and wire runs.\n\t
• Ensure all electrical drawings are in PDF format for submission and approval.\n\t
• Support field electrical maintenance and execute electrical isolation (Lock Out Tag Out for lighting, air-conditioning, and motors).\n\t
• Plan and execute scheduled preventive and breakdown maintenance to maximize operational uptime.\n

\n Tasks and Responsibilities: \n\n

\n\t
• Perform LV & HV electrical isolations and lock-offs.\n\t
• Adhere strictly to company standards and procedural guidelines.\n\t
• Raise relevant permits promptly within designated timeframes.\n\t
• Report maintenance data for reliability analysis.\n\t
• Participate in equipment failure investigations and support identification of reliability issues.\n\t
• Generate new work requests for plant/equipment faults.\n\t
• Develop and review operational and maintenance procedures.\n\t
• Support new projects, including commissioning activities.\n

\n Skills and Qualifications: \n\n

\n\t
• Previous experience in a related electrical maintenance role, preferably in the oil and gas industry.\n\t
• Journeyman or Master Electrician designation required.\n\t
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to clearly describe field conditions and recommend solutions.\n\t
• Proven ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently.\n\t
• Adaptable to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and changing priorities.\n\t
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).\n
