Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Elevator Mechanic to join our growing team. The successful candidate will install, repair, maintain, and modernize elevator systems and components in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain elevators, escalators, and other vertical transportation systems Perform troubleshooting, inspections, and preventive maintenance Upgrade and modernize elevator interiors and mechanical components Ensure all work complies with company, state, and federal safety codes and regulations Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues and perform necessary adjustments or replacements Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Maintain accurate service records and documentation Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and interior design teams to ensure project quality and timely completion Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional attitude on job sites Qualifications Valid Elevator Mechanic License or Certification (as required by local jurisdiction) Minimum X years of experience in elevator installation, maintenance, or modernization Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety Ability to work independently or as part of a team Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Preferred Skills Experience with interior cab renovations and modernization projects Familiarity with multiple elevator brands and control systems Strong communication and customer service skills OSHA safety training certification What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, 401k, etc.) Opportunities for professional development and advancement Supportive team environment with a focus on safety and quality craftsmanship Location: Clearwater, FL #J-18808-Ljbffr Elevators Interiors
