Job Description

As a Elite Armed Security Officer - Patrol in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence for customers and staff. This armed post requires you to conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat02:30 PM - 11:30 PMSun03:15 PM - 11:30 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out security procedures and follow site-specific policies while providing customer service to individuals at retail locations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances or theft within the retail or mall location.
  • Document and report security-related incidents and observations according to site protocols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have an Armed Designation as required by the position.
  • Must possess an Armed Guard Card or License as required by state or local regulations.
  • Must have Level III Armed Certification if applying for a position in Texas.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of combined law enforcement, military or corrections experience, or possess a college degree or 5+ years of Armed Security experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • A valid driver's license is required and must meet AU Driver Policy requirements for driving positions.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
