Title: Entry-Level Collections Representative Location: Gibbsboro, NJ 08026 Salary: $18-20/hr to start (future commission with potential of $50-60k/year) Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Job Overview: We are seeking motivated individuals looking to build a career in collections. While prior collections experience is a plus, we welcome candidates with strong customer service or call center backgrounds who are eager to learn and grow in a new field. If you enjoy speaking with people over the phone, problem-solving, and working in a goal-driven environment, this could be a great opportunity for you! Responsibilities: Establish rapport with customers from diverse backgrounds and assist in resolving account balances. Communicate professionally and effectively to negotiate payment solutions. Learn and apply basic medical billing terminology (e.g., co-pays, deductibles) as needed. Read, understand, and interpret account details, including payer denials. Maintain accuracy and attention to detail when handling account information. Requirements: Previous experience in customer service, call center, or phone-based roles. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Willingness to learn and develop skills in collections. Previous experience in collections or medical billing is a plus but not required.
