We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a sharp eye for detail, a strong understanding of the construction industry, and a proven track record in construction estimating. Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Estimator, you will be integral to the pre-construction process. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Preparing comprehensive cost estimates for various construction projects, from initial bid to final account.
2. Analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
3. Conducting detailed risk and value management assessments to ensure estimates are accurate and competitive.
4. Working closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement team to develop a strategic approach to bidding.
5. Developing and maintaining relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors to ensure the best prices and quality.
6. Presenting estimates to senior management, clients, or other stakeholders as needed.
7. Continually monitoring industry trends and evolutions to keep our estimation process up-to-date and accurate.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this role will have a blend of practical experience, technical skills, and a deep understanding of the construction industry. The required qualifications include:

1. A minimum of 3 years' experience in construction estimating or a related field.
2. Proven experience in project bidding, cost analysis, and budgeting.
3. Proficiency in reading and understanding construction blueprints and plans.
4. A strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
5. Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
7. The ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy.
8. Proficiency in using industry-standard software for estimating and cost analysis.
