Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to senior leadership at a prestigious membership organization in Chicago. This organization is dedicated to fostering collaboration across business, education, civic, and cultural sectors to drive positive change for the Chicago region.



Executive Assistant Responsibilities:

• Provide executive-level administrative support, including managing complex calendars, travel arrangements, and expense reports
• Coordinate materials and logistics for meetings involving prominent leaders and stakeholders
• Draft and edit correspondence, reports, and meeting materials with attention to detail and confidentiality
• Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external communication on behalf of senior leadership
• Support planning and execution of meetings and events for the organization's boards and committees

Executive Assistant Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required
• 5-10 years of experience supporting C-level executives, preferably in a nonprofit setting
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and Zoom
• Familiarity with Salesforce and board book platforms (e.g., Govenda) is preferred
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Resourceful and proactive problem-solver with a high level of emotional maturity
• Strong ability to manage competing priorities and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
