Job Description
Certified Apartment Staffing is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to join our growing team in Phoenix. The qualified candidate will work directly with the Community manager and Regional Maintenance Supervisor to handle all day-to-day property maintenance related activities. This property needs a dynamic, energetic, and skilled professional who is experienced and ready to hit the ground running!
Responsibilities:
-Work directly with manager to complete assigned tasks
-Apartment turns and make ready completion
-Work orders for occupied units
-Painting
-Drywall
-Electrical repairs
-Plumbing repairs
-Pool service
-Groundskeeping
-Scheduling and coordinating vendors
-Communicate with office team to ensure timely completion of all tasks within budget requirements
-Appliance repair and installation
-Change/re-key locks
Qualifications:
-MUST HAVE PRIOR PROPERTY MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE (1-2 years for technician, 3-5 years for Supervisor with at least 1 year experience as a working supervisor for apartment maintenance)
-HVAC certification preferred
-Familiarity with fair housing and working with residents
-Ability to build rapport with residents and other team members
-Strong customer service skills in a professional environment
-Excellent communication skills
-Ability to multitask
-Lifting, walking, standing, crouching, climbing
-Reliable, punctual, and professional
-Valid Driver’s License
-SS #
-Ability to pass criminal background check
