QUALIFICATIONS:- Looking for diverse individual with strong agriculture background in farming and livestock- Good cow/calf and animal health experience are a plus- Farming experience needed with an ability to jump in and assist when needed- Operating feed truck, loader, hauling manure, etc.- Plant, spraying, and harvest experience all a plus- Handle routine maintenance and general repairs- Hard-working, team player, strong communicator, self-starter, high morals, good ethics, motivated, and honest- CDL with a good driving record a plus or someone that at least has tractor/trailer experienceJOB DESCRIPTION:Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a good Farm / Ranch Assistant to assist in cow/calf operation as well as farming operation in Kansas. Duties will include spring tillage and other fieldwork as well as calving. The split would be 75%-85% on farming, and 15% -25% on working with the cows. Spray application would be a plus. Harvest and hauling of grain during the off-season. A person needs to be dependable, have good decision-making skills, be a self-starter, and be willing to assist in all areas. Having a good attitude, who's flexible in their duties, and who's hard working with strong integrity will go a long way toward being considered. Good small town location for schools and raising a family, yet close to a larger city for entertainment and shopping. EOE with hourly wage dependent upon your skill set and experience, but also stability and strong references.
