Job Description
LHIT Consulting is looking for qualified fiber technician for a 1 month + long engagement in Memphis, TN. Tech must have experience with the following:
Single mode and multimode fiber
Different fiber terminations (LC,SC,MPO)
MPO fiber knowledge is preferred but can be learned before start date
Ability to read a cut sheet/wiring diagram
Willing to take direction from a lead
Attention to detail specifically with cable management.
Certifications a plus but experience will be accepted in lieu of certs.
Tech must be willing to work 10 hour days, 6 days per week. PPE required. (Hard hat, safety glasses, safety vest) No tools necessary, but basic hand tools may be useful. Travel and accommodations available and will be covered accordingly. Time off will be granted if time extends into the holiday season.
Scope of Work: Install pre-terminated fiber in a datacenter/warehouse environment rack to rack and within racks. Secrecy on this project is key and any pictures, social media posts, and discussion of the project publicly will be grounds for termination.
Pay terms and offers will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
