SUMMER INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE: The
Finance Associate Intern position is an 8-12 week paid program designed to provide future professionals with meaningful, hands-on workplace experience by directly supporting the Development and Finance Teams.
The role focuses on assisting with financial and market analysis related to the acquisition, development, financing, and management of affordable housing properties across the U.S. As an integrated team member, the Intern will take an active role in financial operations, participate in key projects and decision-making processes, gain exposure to the executive team, and contribute meaningful value to the corporate office.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Support financial modeling, market research, and feasibility analysis for new and existing projects.
- Assist in evaluating project risks and developing mitigation strategies.
- Help with compliance and financial reporting for investors and partners.
- Monitor project performance against investment commitments.
- Participate in the capital call process, including fund drawdowns and stabilization tracking.
- Provide support on various as needed tasks and cross-departmental projects.
- Research and present new ideas or opportunities to the Development and Finance teams.
- Manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- Demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills.
- Provide project closing support

- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Interested in real estate development, underwriting, or financial analysis
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Salary Description
